Some things from the sketchbook in gouache and pencil crayon; these will probably, hopefully, eventually, end up in a bigger story.
Some things from today’s life drawing session, drawn with pencils and a felt tip pen.
Some drawings for a college project; the task was to produce two large and six small images for a choice of book reviews. I chose one by Brian Appleyard and one by John Carey which I haven’t been able to find on the internet (it deals with a book about etymology and why we spell words the way we do).

I am back from the summer with some giraffes! Painted with gouache on paper from sketches I sketched at the zoo. I never really used gouache before, but I think I like it.

Finally, the last page of The Giant. I hope you weren’t holding your breath for this, and if you were, you should probably see a doctor.

Maybe I should have called it “Seven non-consecutive Giant Days” instead. Sorry about the delay.
Happy Mother’s Day to my mum, who is the best mum!

More from the Giant.

Giant Week, day four.
